- I have been a high school Social Studies teacher for 16 years. I love teaching and kids! I started thinking about adopting when I was in my early 30's. When I was still not married at 35, I thought more about it and finally started doing paperwork in March/April of 2007. I decided why should I let being single stop me from adopting. I finally got everything finished and sent to Moscow on October 23, 2007. I am now in my 12th month of waiting to be matched with a little girl. My adoption agency is Children's Hope International and I have been assigned the "region" of Moscow City. I am now first in line to be registered for a baby in Moscow City!
